Reviews
Success at OPERKLOSTERNEUBURG, Tosca-Mario Cavaradossi
“Impressive Cavaradossi. Elegant vocal control, floating pianissimi, secure high notes, and a completely homogeneous voice across all registers characterize the young Mexican tenor Fabián Lara. His Cavaradossi also impressed with metallic top notes that virtually exploded from a velvety middle range.”
– Josef Schmitt, Die Presse, July 6, 2025
“Fabián Lara delivers Cavaradossi tenderly yet powerfully into the summer night.”
– Stefan Musil, Krone Zeitung, July 7, 2025
“Fabián Lara is a very good Cavaradossi. The bright timbre suits this tenor well. He sings with clarity.”
– Susanne Zobl, Kurier, July 6, 2025
“The Mexican tenor Fabián Lara thrilled as Cavaradossi.”
– Stefan Öllerer, Ö-News
“(…) a Cavaradossi, that is, Fabián Lara, whose timbre possesses a certain velvety quality and gains character in the radiant high notes.”
– Ljubisa Tosic, Der Standard, July 7, 2025
